Ombre Mountains Quilt in Moments Fabric! from Busy Hands Quilts

Today I'm sharing a beautiful Ombre Mountains quilt in Moments, a new fabric collection by Clothworks.  It's a wonderful blend of larger watercolor florals with itty bitty florals and blenders in pinks, peaches, blues, and greens.

Kindred Throw Quilt Kits in Warm and Cozy by Connecting Threads! from Busy Hands Quilts

Kindred has been kitted by Connecting Threads in a new collection called Warm and Cozy.  This collection includes a variety of textures in toasty golds, royal reds, pretty plums, and calming greens.  Each of these colorways is represented in Kindred for a truly warm and cozy quilt.

Ombre Mountains Queen Quilt by Delaney! from Busy Hands Quilts

This Ombre Mountains quilt was made by Delaney!  It's the Queen size and is being enjoyed by her cat JakJak.

Sunnyside Quilt in Blues and Pinks by Susan! from Busy Hands Quilts

Susan made this Sunnyside quilt in blues and pinks, and it turned out beautifully!  The stars are twinkling across the quilt.  The texture of the quilting is amazing, and I'm admiring the flat quilt and corners.  She did a great job!

Kindred Throw Quilt in Notting Hill! from Busy Hands Quilts


It's exciting to share another quilt in Notting Hill - one of my favorite fabric collections!  I just love the blend of colors together, very softly muted but still with a lot of color; with florals, tone-on-tones, ginghams, and plaids.  It's so yummy!

Notting Hill is featured in a brand-new quilt pattern called Kindred.  This is a fat quarter friendly quilt pattern that features HSTs and log cabin-ish quilt blocks with accent fabrics that create secondary designs across the quilt top.

Falling Stars Twin Quilt Kit in Freshly Picked Batiks! from Busy Hands Quilts

Simplicity Quilt Pattern - a Throw in Wild Crimson! from Busy Hands Quilts

Today I'm sharing a quilt from last year!  This Simplicity quilt has had to wait at every step of the quilt-making process, and today is her day to shine!

The Simplicity quilt pattern is a quick and easy HST pattern.  The larger bed sizes are made with larger blocks to make the process go much faster.  I didn't think you really wanted to make almost 700 HSTs for a king size, so the block size is increased in bed sizes.  :)

Simplicity Throw Quilt! from Busy Hands Quilts


This week I finished a Simplicity quilt in Throw size, a super happy HST quilt in a variety of fabric collections.  This quilt pattern includes 5 sizes - Baby, Throw, Twin, Queen, and King.  The HSTs are larger in the larger size quilts so they go together quicker.  I've done all the math for you, so you can grab your fabrics (even scraps!) and go!


I've had this extra-wide backing in my stash for quite some time, and now and again the perfect quilt comes along to match just right.  :)

Modern Prism Quilted Wall Hanging from Busy Hands Quilts

Ah, the Modern Prism quilt never fails to delight with its bright, planned simplicity.


The fabric is Michael Miller Cotton Couture, and I love the hand of this fabric.  It is so soft and smooth and frays very little, if at all.  It's such a pleasure to work with such high quality fabric!
